Crossing that fine line.

The popular website tv-links.co.uk was shut down by MPAA a few days ago. This is what tv-links said about the ordeal:

"TVLINKS has been forced to switch data center’s from MPAA threats. Now we need your help. Please consider donating. Apparently it is now illegal to link to a website that displays illegal content. But what about the sites that are actually housing the video uploads? Oh wait, they’re owned by Google, and sites like YouTube have already paid off the MPAA to turn their head."

The whole thing is a load of crap. With this site getting shut down and the recent raid of oink.cd, the un-popular invite only torrent site I used, I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get any free entertainment that really does no harm to either the CEO's of record labels or TV networks. I mean, I used tv-links to watch episodes of Family Guy before I'd call it a day and head to bed. Sorry for the fact that I'm too poor to own a TV.
